Sajonisi Trade Shop
We have recently acquired a shop in the centre of town in a petite little shopping mall (don't worry its not like Harrods its African style). Our vision is to trade in wholesale grains and nuts, second hand goods and homemade jams at low, low prices for the community to afford. We will also export the coffee being produced from the project we are linked with and allow local people to sell their crafts here. We will also have a delivery service once a week of organic veg boxes and a display of children's art.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Roll up your sleeves and help us paint and kit out the shop. Be our shopkeeper for a day or two and meet the very interesting local people of Port St. John's as they bustle around doing their daily shopping. Make a product for us to sell or get sticky making jam from fresh locally grown fruit. Also if you are coming to visit us get down to the charity shop and throw a few extra items in your suitcase for us to sell in the shop.
